We are experts at replacing and refinishing gymnasium floors and dance floors.Our Products include Bruce, Armstrong, Mullican, Tarkett, Armstrong etc. that can be installed as nail-down, glue-down, and floating floors. We can also install highly-customized inlaid hardwood flooring designs within your flooring. These designs can be created using most any combination of the hardwoods. Types of Wood Flooring: 1) Unfinished hardwood flooring- Unfinished wood flooring refers to flooring that requires sanding and finish on site after installation is complete, this type of solid hardwood flooring is typically ¾ in thickness, tongue and grooved with end matching and available with range from 2-1/4 to 5 wide, unfinished flooring is usually a square edge product with some exception. Board length on manufactured flooring will range from 12 up to 78 on random length basis. unfinished flooring available in three types of grades clear/first grade is refer to the cleanest grade of flooring containing the least amount of color variation and no knots boards, select & better grade or 2nd grade flooring refer to flooring that has more color variation and can contain some pin knots, Natural/3rd grade flooring refer to full range of color witch include mineral streaks and solid knots of varying size. 2) Pre-finished hardwood flooring- Solid pre-finish flooring has the same construction as unfinished solid hardwood with a few exceptions. Pre-finished flooring is usually beveled on either two sides or all four sides and has a factory applied finish on each individual board. Width available usually ranges from 2-1/4 to 6 with board lengths between 12 to 78. 3) Engineered wood flooring- engineered flooring is contracted by laminating a multi laminate backer with a real wear layer of hardwood. Thickness of engineered flooring can range from 5/16 to 5/8 and width can range between 2-1/4 to 6. Engineered flooring will have a shorter average length due to the way it is manufactured. Engineered flooring is a pre-finish with a four sided bevel. 4) Laminate flooring- laminate flooring is made using a process by which a medium density or high density fiber core is laminated by using either decorative paper and finished. This is achieved by using either a one or two part process. Laminate flooring can take many forms, style and texture. Thickness can vary from 6 mils to 12 mils. Laminate flooring available in panels or individual pieces depending on manufactures, laminate flooring can be installed above on or below grade 1st, 2nd, floor or basement and must be floated.Types of Wood Flooring Finishes: 1) Oil modified urethane is generally the most common surface and easy to apply. It is solvent based polyurethane that dries about 8 hours this type of finish amber with age.2) Water base urethane is water base urethane that dries by water evaporation these finishes are clear and none yellowing. They have a milder odor then oil modified finishes and they dry about two three hours. Water base urethane is generally more expensive. ***Brands of finishes are Minwax, Polo-Plaz, Bonocomi*** In addition to hardwood floors, we specialize in tile floors, stone floors, carpet and vinyl and offer remodeling services. Ceramic Tile
Ceramic tile is made primarily of clay mixed with various mineral and water, this composition is then processed with heat to create the solidified product. Since ceramic materials is porous the top surface is usually sealed with a glaze, the glaze surface is referred to as design layer since it determines the tiles finished color, design and texture. Glazed ceramic tile is very durable it will last longer and it is easy surface to clean.

Porcelain Tile
Porcelain tile is tile that made by dust pressed method from porcelain clays witch result in a tile that is dense, impervious fine grained and smooth with a sharply formed face. Porcelain tile usually have much lower water absorption rate than none porcelain tiles making them frost resistant or frost proof. Porcelain is much harder and more wear and damage resistance. Full body porcelain tiles carry the color and pattern through the entire thickness. Porcelain suitable for any application for residential and commercial industries and its available in matte, unglazed and high polished finishes.

Carpet Types of Carpet flooring 1) Plush Carpet - plush carpet has a luxurious look, features a velvety even cut pile, and shows footprint shading easily, and it is one of the oldest carpet styles and is still unsurpassed for beauty and elegance. Plush carpet has a pile that is lightly twisted and that generally has uniform color. Plush carpet has more tip definition then velvets. They are softer and more level then textures.2) Berber Carpet - Berber carpet is type of weave of carpet not a type of carpet. The fiber of this carpet can be wool, nylon, polyester, olefin or a blend of types of fiber. Berber carpet is a beautiful and durable choice for floor covering.3) Twist/ Frisee Carpet - Carpet twist is the number of times the fiber strands are spun together in a 1-inch length to form the carpet yarn. Most yarns are heat-set after twisting to lock the twist in place, giving it a memory for improved resilience, a high level or tight twist enhances a carpets long term durability by providing improved resistance to crushing and matting. Twist can also affect the look of the carpet.4) Carpet Pads - carpet pads or carpet cushion are the foundation for carpets. There are three major types of carpet padding fiber, sponge and foam rubber. Thickness pads give softener, luxurious feels. Carpet cushions also have a wide range of insulation value.

Vinyl Types of Vinyl1) Sheet vinyl flooring- Sheet vinyl tile has been around for decades and still one of the most popular types of flooring, its made using a prints process witch print a pattern on the flooring. Vinyl sheet are available in a wide range of looks its durable and easy to clean, its come either in 6 feet or 12 feet rolls, and used for residential and commercial institutions. 2) VCT - VCT is Vinyl Composition tile witch is composed colored vinyl chips formed into solid sheets of varying thickness of 1/8 that is most common by heat and pressured and cut into 12 squares, VCT tile used most primary in commercial and institutional application, vinyl tile are durable easy to maintained. ***Brands: TARKETT, ARMSTRONG, AZROCK JOHNSONITE
